ED DAVEY SLAMS GOVERNMENT ON SOCIAL CARE!

Speaking during Carers Week, Liberal Democrat Leader paid tribute to the millions of unpaid family carers across the country. 

He then asked the Prime Minister, Keir Starmer if he would accept that no amount of money for the NHS will solve the crisis in Social Care unless it receives the investment and attention that is being devoted to the NHS. In response the PM ignored Ed’s question.

Liberal Democrats believe that for too long Social Care has ignored by successive parties and treated as second class. Labour’s plans have again put Social Care at the back of the queue leaving millions of unpaid family carers struggling.
