Council Leader thanks army of helpers!

Leader of Rochdale Council has publicly thanked the "unsung heroes" who helped the Liberal Democrats to their best ever result in the Council Elections.
The Liberal Democrats now have 32 seats - a record! Councillor Taylor said, "There are many people who I would like to thank - these include people like John Swarbrick, Jean Crossland and Stan Collins who came all the way from Cumbria. They are the real heroes and it gives me great pleasure to publicly thank them."
