Politics has become very divisive too. With a disastrous Conservative government nationally and a divided Labour party locally, it is time to take stock of what really matters and offer the voting public honest, hard working and transparent representation. And that is what your local Lib Dem team aspire to do day in, day out.
We keep in touch all year round through leaflets, emails and social media. We support community groups and events and generate campaigns based on what you tell us is important to you.
We represent you at on council and at Pennines township and most importantly, we deliver on casework wherever we can, getting the people of Milnrow and Newhey a fair share of their public services.
A vote for Cllr Andy Kelly is a vote to keep that hard work up and to make sure that you continue to be represented with a strong, sensible and supportive voice.
Cllr Andy Kelly was first elected to Council in 2010 as Councillor for Milnrow and Newhey and became Lib Dem Group leader in 2012. He has built a solid reputation for delivering on case work, advocating for local people, and challenging Labour and the Conservatives on Rochdale Council. A qualified senior youth worker by trade, Andy Kelly currently works in public affairs for a national funder.
If you need help or advice from your local councillors then you can email of phone them and they will do all they can to help you.
