A message from Tom Shaw

Working all year round in West Heywood.

Since moving to the area the people in Heywood town have warmly welcomed my partner and I and made us feel at home, and I want to repay that kindness.

I can see the neglect of Labour councillors, intent on fighting each other and covering their own backs rather than prioritising West Heywood, and earlier in the year I arranged a litter pick around Darnhill shops, I aim to arrange more of these throughout the year around the ward.

I am standing to be your ward councillor, and if you lend me your vote then I will fight to make sure your voice is heard and to improve standards in the council chamber. I will fight for better youth services locally, and to secure a bus service that meets our local needs.
