Saghir Ahmed is the Liberal Democrat Candidate for Kingsway
The people of Rochdale, Heywood, and Middleton have faced years of failure and neglect in our Town Hall from this disastrous Labour council. In this year’s local election, the Liberal Democrats are fielding candidates in every seat in the borough, and we are calling on people to vote for our candidates across the borough.
Community activist Saghir Ahmed is standing as the Liberal Democrat candidate in the Kingsway Ward where he has been working hard to clean up Labour's mess.
Saghir told Focus "Our area has been neglected for years by Labour, we need a councillor who will work with local people to clean up our area, tackle our issues, and support our communities in improving our area. If I am elected then I intend to be that councillor."
